OUR MAY CLUB MEETING
Our May meeting takes place at the home of two new members of our Club. Our hosts, Livia and Paul, are very passionate about Italy. They built their house in Dacula in 2002 and shortly thereafter, Livia’s mother Marta Quarteni (a 1st generation Italian) moved in with them. Livia’s love of all Italian of course started from her birth, as for Paul it started the minute he met her family and began to understand the passion the Italians possess for life. As a child Livia visited her family and relattives every summer in Florence, where her mother is from. Paul just visited Florence for the first time this September. Of course Paul fell in love with all he experienced in Italy. Livia’s goal to be fluent in the Italian language as she regrets regret that she was not taught the language as a child. Paul and Livia are very excited about hosting Ciancia for the first time!

Food and Door Policy: please, remember that this is a potluck gathering and that you should bring something ready to eat. Those who bring food or wine pay $10 at the door, per person – please, cash only! Empty-handed pay $20 at the door. Please, don’t forget to bring a mosquito repellent – you may need it if you step outdoor, in the garden.
